Greece 1978. Night club perfection, good for any other location as well. No fillers, the whole album works.
Tommy The Bitch – Give It To Me
If it’s sung by Tommy The Bitch it simply HAS to be posted, right? The track is Japanese, from 1978.
In 2003-2006 Salsoul re-released almost whole its catalogue, but one compilation of “Salsoul Flavas” series – “Electrophonic Beats, Dubby Mixes & Black Underground Flavas” – didn’t see a light of the day. Greg Wilson (he selected the tracks) guesses that material seemed too experimental to copyright owners.
In 2008 Mr. Wilson published the tracklist in one of his article, but a few days ago this article disappeared from net. Now tracklist is here for your pleasure (192 kbps, 72:30, 99.6 Mb):

Sweet Dynamite and Why Must A Girl Like Me were not the first things Claudja Barry did. This one’s from 1976.
One of the earliest documented New York discothéque records. From the 1970 album Stillness.
Someone I know had not heard this 12″. So in case there are more of you out there here it is, one of the definitive train song classics.

The lyrics go on like this: “that’s pretty great to have sex”, on repeat, during more than 4 minutes
Bought this record because of the crazy “Joga”track, which is a remake of Kraftwerk`s “model” .
It was at least a year in my possession, till i found it again in my crates ,and finally listened to the record.
I was very suprised by the content, and realised the Joga track isn´t the best one on it.
The highlight of the Lp, is definitely A1.
Beach party / protodisco version of a Simon & Garfunkel hit from the same 1970 album that has the legendary Happy Brasilia cut. Simon & Garfunkel were a duo of folk singers usually concerned with angst and general misery.
One of my personal all-time eighties faves. Sleeve by Pierre & Gilles.
We’ve been posting a lot of records focusing on sex with space aliens, as well as hetero- and homo affairs of all sorts. Then there was that pasta & fagioli track that may have raised some relevant issues. Now, here’s American entertainer Peter Allen promoting bisexuality.
Gunter’s beats are from his 1979 album Uberfällig. Hipster icon Sandy Bull’s track is from the 1963 lp Fantasias For Guitar And Banjo. Both useful as set openers.
Staying on the track of the prog rock-disco italian connection, Luna was a band formed on 1977 by Danilo Rustici, Joe Amoruso, Dario Franco and Sabatino Romano, born over the ashes of the last reincarnation of a quite successful italian progressive rock group, Osanna.
If their other 1978 single “Iron far”, a spaced out classic of the “cosmic sound”, is quite well known, this is the first of their 3 singles, from 1977
Yes, there is an LP, too. But you can simply forget about it, it’s one of the rarest italian prog rock vinyls…….Don’t forget to check out “Iron Far“
So when i got his record about 2 years ago i listened to it about 20 times in a row.
And i could listen to it every day 20 times,a nd it don´t get boring.
Guess i need a second copy to make an infinite mix.
Released in 1973, nearly 40 years ago. So ahead of it´s time.
Pure underwater synthesizer action..
Unfortunately very short, but worth every second.
