Aria Di Fiesta

Michela Miti - Aria Di Festa (1982)

For sure it’s no great shakes, but, step by step, the number of singing 70s/80s Italian erotic models collected in those pages grows.

Musica Spaziale

Patrizia Pellegrino - Musica Spaziale (1982)

Everything in this record will speak to the heart of Space Disco enthusiasts. It’s just far too short: three and a half minutes only!

Thanks to the unknown contributor who has recently added the Automaticamore track to the radio database: it’s so much appreciated…

Вова Синий И Братья По Разуму - Молодость Моя (1985)

Friendly advice: copy the name of the band and google it. Those Russian vaults are full of wonderful treasures.

Eclipse Line

elunknown656817681-986861768781

Eclipse Line - [Unknown] (1987?)

Is it genuine? Is it a fake? Even if I’m personally sceptical about the claims, it’s a pure cosmic rocket anyway. Here’s what the man who kindly gave me a copy knows about it (the full track is in the link below):

Eclipse Line are reportedly a well-forgotten Soviet electronic band from Murmansk.

Little is known about them except that they enjoyed moderate success in their provincial Northern town circa 1987.

A handful of tracks remain the only evidence of the band’s existence. Recorded on a reel-to-reel, the only surviving Eclipse Line album was recently discovered by a music enthusiast and posted on a Russian rare tapes blog:

http://www.say2day.ru/content/nezagranitsa (the post is in Russian only)

The found tape was marked ‘Eclipse Line-87′, no track names or credits. The blogger, whose father owned the tape, named the tracks ‘Disarmament’, ‘Electric Lights’ etc, grabbing random words from his mid-80’s childhood to match the mood. The record has been mastered digitally from a tape - if you listen to it carefully you might notice ‘floating’ bpm which indicates the track can hardly have been recorded on a PC…

Best,

Andrey
